Lathe and milling machine LMD6X with 4-axis digital LTSM
LTS Maskin has designed and obtained a patent for this smart combi machine that allows for manual turning, milling and drilling in the same clamping. With the 6-axes, it is possible to make complex parts in the same clamping.
This machine is assembled from a Profi 700 PRO lathe and a BF 30 Super milling/drilling machine, but we can also supply larger and smaller versions. The machines are mounted on a strong granite base which provides extra good stability. The four main axes have digital readings.
The milling head is set on rails so that it can be moved 500mm in the Z2 axis and 200mm in the Y axis. In addition, a dividing disc is implement on the spindle of the lathe, so that dividing can be done in 10° interval and 90°, 45°, 22.5° and 11.25°.
Due to this unique patented structure, one can produce fhv. complex parts, as in a CNC machine.
The machine is particularly suitable for development and prototyping. It will also be excellent for teaching, because that students will gain a relevant understanding of how production takes place in CNC machines. It will also be suitable for ships, or other places with limited space, as you get a lathe, milling machine and drilling machine in one.
